Background
A 3-tier training programme in collaboration with Unit Transformasi Masyarakat India Malaysia (MITRA) designed with customised modules to educate and equip selected participants with knowledge and skillsets about investment opportunities in the market. This programme offers participants an opportunity to gain hands-on learning experience with guidance from subject matter experts.

Objectives
•    To educate about investments on the capital market.
•    To create financially literate and savvy Malaysian Indian investors.
•    To facilitate the path to create passive income and financial freedom.

Participant Criteria
•    Applicable to Malaysian Indians ONLY
•    Aged 18 – 40 years old in B40 and M40 brackets
•    Minimum qualification: SPM holder

Learn about the Capital Market

Get familiar with market dynamics, investment strategies, and the economic factors that affect market prices.

Earn a Passive Income

Earning passive income from the capital market involves investing in assets like investment notes, dividend stocks, bonds, REITs, or funds that generate regular returns.

Programme Structure

Beginner Level

Open to 500 Malaysian Indians who are qualified and are keen to learn about investments in the capital market.
Selected participants will undergo 2 sessions of full-day investment training which will be held in Klang Valley, Penang and Johor Bahru.
Participants will be encouraged to open CDS and Trading accounts.
Participants will be assessed via an assessment test and are required to score at least 80% to advance to the intermediate level.

Intermediate Level

Top 300 participants from the Beginner level will be selected to undergo 2 full-day sessions of in-depth training on investments which will be held in Klang Valley, Penang and Johor Bahru.
These participants will be exposed to in-depth fundamental and technical aspects of investments in the market.
Participants will be exposed to simulated trading to experience trading in the market.
Participants will be assessed via an assessment test and will be required to score 80% and above to qualify for the next level.

Advanced Level

Top 150 participants will be selected for Skill-Set Training as Dealer Representatives or Research Analysts.
Selected participants will undergo 5 sessions of full-day investment training which will be held in Klang Valley.
Participants will be equipped with customised training covering key aspects for job placements in the capital market.
