TECHNICALS-Palm oil may retest support 3,864 ringgit
* For more technical analyses, please click TECH/C SINGAPORE, Sept 6 (Reuters) - Palm oil FCPOc3 may retest support at 3,864 ringgit per metric ton, a break below which could trigger a fall into 3,777 ringgit to 3,821 ringgit range. The correction from the Aug. 30 high of 4,003 ringgit looks incomplete. It is against the uptrend from the Aug. 14 low of 3,638 ringgit. Unless the trend turns out to be extremely strong, it is likely to be further reversed. On the hourly chart, the strong bounce on Thursday might have been driven by a wave (b), which will be followed by a downward wave (c). Based on this wave count, the wave (b) is supposed to end around 3,948 ringgit. This wave, together with the wave (a) and the coming wave (c) are expected to unfold within a falling channel. A break above 3,948 ringgit may lead to a gain to 3,987 ringgit. * Wang Tao is a Reuters market analyst for commodities and energy technicals.
