South Africa's net foreign reserves rise to $60.141 bln in Aug

JOHANNESBURG, Sept 6 (Reuters) - South Africa's net foreign reserves rose to $60.141 billion at the end of August from $59.165 billion in July, central bank data showed on Friday. Gross reserves increased to $63.205 billion in August from $62.269 billion in July. The forward position, which represents the central bank's unsettled or swap transactions, rose to $0.527 billion from $0.521 billion.
