The correction from the Sept. 26 high of $2,685, or its first round, is presumed over. The presumption is based on the observation that the fall could be well divided into three small waves. The metal may bounce towards the peak of the wave b at $2,666. A break below $2,626 may trigger a drop to $2,611, as pointed by a falling trendline. On the daily chart, a projection analysis on the uptrend from $1,984 reveals support at $2,636, which is expected to trigger a bounce or at least hold for one or two days. * Wang Tao is a Reuters market analyst for commodities and energy technicals.
