Indonesia proposes increase in biodiesel mix to 50% in 2028, official says
NUSA DUA, Indonesia, Nov 7 (Reuters) - Indonesia's government is proposing to increase the mandatory blend of palm oil-based fuel in biodiesel to 50% in 2028, Edi Wibowo, director of bioenergy at Energy and Mineral Resources Ministry, told an industry conference on Thursday. Indonesia currently has a mandatory biodiesel mix of 35% and it is expected to increase that to 40% next year.
