The contract has broken a falling trendline, but has yet to experience a pullback towards this line. The pullback may be triggered by the resistance at 4,917 ringgit. The pullback is expected to end above 4,800 ringgit, the support provided by the trendline. A break below this level would signal a continuation of the downtrend. On the daily chart, market has broken resistance at 4,848 ringgit. The break could lead to a gain into 4,983 ringgit to 5,097 ringgit range. A close below 4,848 ringgit on Friday would suggest the break above this level was false. Market may fall towards 4,629 ringgit thereafter. * Wang Tao is a Reuters market analyst for commodities and energy technicals.
