Singapore to Introduce Mandatory Climate Reporting Beginning 2025

Singapore will introduce mandatory climate reporting for companies starting in 2025. The new requirements will be phased in, with listed companies reporting first, followed by large non-listed companies by 2027. Companies will have to disclose greenhouse gas emissions, and some will eventually need to get assurance on their reports. This aims to improve companies' sustainability practices and position Singapore as a leader in the green economy.
