India's March palm oil imports rise 14% m/m - trade body - Reuters

April 11 (Reuters) - India's palm oil imports in March rose about 14% from the previous month to 424,599 metric tons, a trade body said on Friday. Imports of soyoil rose 25% to 355,358 tons, and sunflower oil imports were down about 16% to 190,645 tons, the Mumbai-based Solvent Extractors' Association of India (SEA) said in a statement. Total vegetable oil imports rose 11% to 1.00 million tons, the statement added. (Reporting by Banglore newsroom)
