Southern Acids (M) Berhad is a Malaysia-based company, which is engaged in manufacturing of oleochemical products. The Company’s segments include Oleochemical Manufacturing, Healthcare Services, Milling & Cultivation, and Investments & Services. The Oleochemical Manufacturing Segment is involved in the manufacturing and marketing of fatty acids and glycerin with a production mix ratio of approximately 90:10 between fatty acids and glycerin. The manufacturing plant is located in Kapar, Klang. The Healthcare Services Segment operates Sri Kota Specialist Medical Center (Sri Kota), a 232-bedded private tertiary hospital located in Klang, Selangor. The Milling & Cultivation segment is principally engaged in the processing of fresh fruit bunches (FFB) into crude palm oil (CPO) and palm kernels, as well as oil palm cultivation. Milling & Cultivation operates two palm oil mills (POM) located in Riau, Indonesia with a combined milling capacity of 100 MT per hour.
