How to Guide: Strategic Corporate Giving
Many companies today engage in corporate giving, but how can companies move one level up and ensure that this is done strategically? This report, created by the National Volunteer & Philanthropy Centre in Singapore, is targeted at helping Singaporean companies to do good well – i.e. by ensuring that giving is not just ad-hoc or transitional, but strategic and impactful. The material is similarly relevant for a Malaysian audience as the principles presented are universal. It identifies the evolution of corporate giving in 4 stages, and companies are guided along 10 steps to ensure its corporate giving evolves to be more strategic. The report also highlights case studies by companies for the purpose of peer learning.
