Brussels works to defuse green policy opposition ahead of EU elections

Brussels is working to mitigate opposition to its green policies ahead of EU election, especially from the agricultural sector. In response to the farmers' protests, the EU has withdrawn a law to reduce the use of pesticides, delayed green targets on fallow land.
