Sarawak Government Achieves Key Milestone in Greenhouse Gas Reporting.

Sarawak’s Natural Resources and Environment Board (NREB) said PTTEP Sarawak Oil Limited has become the first company to submit its greenhouse gas (GHG) emission report under the Environment (Reduction of Greenhouse Gases Emission) Ordinance. The ordinance, which came into force on 1 March 2024, mandates business entities in the energy, oil and gas sectors to register with the NREB and submit their GHG emission reports by 28 August this year.
