MITI Aims to Attract RM300 billion of Green Investments by 2030

Investment, Trade and Industry Minister Tengku Datuk Seri Zafrul Abdul Aziz said Malaysia aims to attract RM300 billion in green investments by 2030 to achieve net zero emissions by 2050. According to Tengku Zafrul, the country realised about RM40 billion in green investments between 2017 and 2023, and the new RM300 billion target under his ministry’s Green Investment Strategy is in line with the National Energy Transition Roadmap.
